She is currently a Florida State University, College of Motion Picture Arts BAFTA Yugo shortlisted student with a passion for filmmaking, photography, and all things storytelling. In addition, she is a south Florida native, born and raised, a first-generation Cuban-American. When Janicel is not directing or producing film, she is working with clients to capture special moments utilizing the medium of photography. She promotes a positive atmosphere when interacting with clients and their loved ones. Janicel's photography has been displayed at the Tallahassee International Airport as apart of the Tallahassee Photo Fest exhibit. She has taken over 50 Grad Session photos and has worked with companies such as Drink Poppi, Nuun Hydration, Isabela Grutman, Nordstrom, local Miami Jewelry shops, and local businesses. Janicel will be moving to Los Angeles in the summer to pursue her career in film.
